August 1, 1917: “P. S. Sutton, a look-out man for the United States forest service on Gordon Mountain, was brought in to Missoula yesterday suffering from the effects of a poison weed. Mr. Sutton was taken to St. Patrick's hospital for treatment.” (The Daily Missoulian)
