DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1940 (ANS) NAPA FOREST SERVICE LOOKOUT TOWER IS IN THE FLATHEAD NATIONAL FOREST ON A LOW TIMBERED HILL, 10 MILES SE OF SWAN LAKE, 13 MILES E OF FLATHEAD LAKE, AND 3 MILES W OF THE FLATHEAD-LAKE COUNTY LINE. THE TOP OF THE TOWER WAS INTERSECTED.
